Eye of the beholder

You are, to yourself, a winking Cyclops
your intent, you know, in your heart,
Yet your vision can not clearly discern,
a wink from a blink
It’s all in the eye of the beholder
Or,
is it?
Your one eye shut, either in blink, or wink
how will you see to know the difference?
You are blind.
Blind to yourself.
Blind to how you are beheld by the world.
Blind to the nuance of wink vs blink.
Blind to the self evasion which is your attempt
To orphan the truth in your heart. It was a blink, It was a wink.
You listen with your two ears, to the visions of others, counting their two eyes
more penetrating than your one,
and try to ignore the quiet voice in your head
which says over and over,
"I don’t see it. I don’t see it. I don’t see anything at all."
